We've now been home for about 2 weeks and we're over our jet-lag. I've had all my tests done and I'm starting to plan for treatments - everything to make sure we're ready for our next trip.
To get over jet-lag we've spent some time planning our trips for the rest of 2019 and 2020 - which is always enjoyable :)
September trip and December trip all flights confirmed - still working on the hotels.......
September - October - November:
California 1 week - wine harvesting.
New England 3 weeks - road trip Boston, Maine, White Mountains, Newport, autumn colours
Orlando 1 week - conference in Disney World
Florida Keys 1 week - road trip from Miami to Key West
December - January
Cook Islands 1 week - Christmas (and Silver Wedding Anniversary) in Rarotonga
New Zealand 2 weeks - road trip in campervan around Gisborne and East Coast
February
Thailand 1 week - we think. Just trying to figure this out right now.
New Zealand 2 weeks - road trip with 6 friends in Martinborough
May - June
Denmark 2 weeks - Mathias's confirmation
Italy/Greece 3-4 weeks - haven't decided where yet.
And then we know there's something happening in August as well - and we might meet up with friends in Europe somewhere afterwards. And.... we need to arrange a trip to South America with same friends, so that we can dance tango in Buenos Aires, ride with cows in Argentina - and eat them as well I would think.... and see the Iguazu Falls and then visit Machu Pitcchi in Peru. Oooh yeah, and we talked about seeing the Northern lights as well - so we need to get that arranged..... So much to do - so much to see :))))
